London is everything you expect it to be and much more. Everything is familiar, but it still it does not lose its magnificence.
The taxi cabs, the buses, the policemen, the money, everything is different and seems like it lives in a dimension apart from the real world. Most of the people, although trapped in suits, seem to enjoy being part of the city and its successful herd.
After 5 o’clock, walking through the city and ridding the tube feels like walking into The Nationals’ Boxer album. Everybody starts dropping their executive persona, but still wearing traces of their costume. As the night arrives, the alcohol hazed, young, bright executives colour the roads with the clicking of heels, childish laughter and languid embraces.

Like I haven’t got enough excitement for today…
I’ll spend the next 4 days in London. It will be my first time in Britain! Too bad I can’t listen to the album again until Friday…

And some days are meant to be careless, happy days. Even the rain feels good. Wet clothes and shoes don’t matter, all we need to keep us warm is our smiles and the company of people we genuinely like.
